At Abney Eye Center, we believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need. Outreach programs represent an opportunity to show the community the level of commitment our optometrists have to their community. The staff also plays an important role in community outreach.
Dr. Abney served two consecutive terms from 2007 to 2009 as President of the Leitchfield Lions Club. He remains active in this organization serving as membership director. Dr. Abney also serves on the board of directors for the Kentucky Vision Project, which helps provide eye care and glasses to those with limited resources.
